DirectX 10 card!!!

We all know dat DX 10 is shipped with vista...

But...

If I have Dx10 Graphics Card then:

- can i use the DX10 (as in vista) in XP ?
- if not then DX10 card is not worth for XP..in terms of graphics processing
as in DX10 ?

XP doesnt support DX10, so simply DX10 = Vista.

This doesnt mean, you shouldnt buy DX10 cards just because you will be using XP.Its not like the cards is going to perform horribly in DX9 and difference between DX9 and DX10 is not monstrous or anything when speaking strictly about the graphics part.

So what we have seen in crysis graphics (i.e gameplay trailer) is shown in
DX10....vista os.....

crysis is mainly 4 DX10.....if u wanna see full eyecandy
in DX9 its not that par

If you u really don't have a high end Rig......simply don't try to Gaming on Vista.... It will suck you down.....

now dont say that dood.
hav a look at my rigs's config (in my siggy).it runs Vista and all the games in full glory.any new procy (be it E2140) paired with 2GB of ram (minimum) and a gud enuf card like 8600GT will run Vista and all the games though not with all eye candy enabled.
