Default 5.1 Speaker Selection

I am planning to buy 5.1 speaker system and my budget is around 5K-6K.

I have read features of artis S6600R and i am wondering are they really

thx certified?

i mean for 6K is it possible? also can anyone give me review of the speakers?

Also i have Altec lansing 251, logitech x-530 and creative T6060 as other

options.

My priorities are

1.) Music

2.) Television connection ( eg watching star movies,HBO,etc)

3.) Xvid Movies, and WMV movies ( philips DVD Player)

4.) DVD 5.1 original

Above is my usage i am going to do with the speakers. I already have

Altec Lansing MX5021 2.1 speakers, so i want to buy now 5.1 speakers.

Please guide me in this.

Logitech X540 is currently the best in 5k class. For 500 less u can get X530.
Also do get at least Creative Audigy 2 value for 1.8k

i will say Edifier 5.1 they are 100% better than thoes stupid creative live or sound blaster or what ever modal. it is aroung Rs3000 here in bangalore.
and i think THX will be more than your current budget.
