Some of the members suggested to lower my Vcore of the cpu. I have no idea how to do that. So can anyone help me out there solving that problem? I am running P4 (intel P4 515) on the Asus PTGD1-LA.The bios version i am using is V3.28.However there is no such thing so as to regulate the cpu voltage from within the bios. The complete report of EVEREST is located at
If your BIOS doesnt allow vcore control, then i am afraid you cant do much about it.
Also regarding the CPU running hot, have you looked into the ventilation of your case ? If its not right, recitfying it will improve the cooling efficiency for sure.
remove proccy HSF,clean all the dust, remove the thermal paste from both the procy and hsf and then reapply thermal paste and install the hsf.
u sud see some drop in temps.
