Problem with my Hard Disk

Hi,

My hard disk is facing a strange problem.My system gets freezed very frequently.I thought it would be my HDD's problem.Then I connected my hard disk in my friend's PC and booted from it.But the system has no problem.There isnt any freezing problem.

What is the correct problem?Is it related to my hard disk or any other components?

^it can be RAM or a motherboard problem.
u can test ur ram using a linux cd (ubuntu or knoppix) to run "memtest86+"

Did you boot in OS installed on your hard disk when connected to your friends PC??

Yea I boot into the OS installed on my hard disk .....But there wasnt any problem

Than it can be overheating or hardware issue??
try another RAM, and check SMPS, processor and cabinet fans.
