Wide screen monitor

I want to buy a monitor since my monitor gone phut.I have mobo with on board video.(D101GGC).Can a widescreen monitor be connected straightaway or is there any mobo combatibility to checked?.will somebody clarify my doubt?.thanks

I think all monitors can be considered... i like the DELL monitors... no need for any mobo compatibility

Yes, You dont need anything else
Just buy a WideScreen LCD and Connect it Directly
your mobo D101GGC will take it without any Problem

almost all P4 and above Boards take Wide Screen
and even PIII and celeron board takes WideScreen
