Thumbs down power surge on hub port

frnds from 1 week i m getting message on my task bar is like that"POWER SURGE ON HUB PORT" (a usb device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port for assistance in solving this problem click this message) but its never solve my problem by clicking that button ,so frns lz help me how to resolve my problem.

microsoft windows XP proffesional version 2002
service pack 2, intel(r) pentium(r) 4 cpu 2.66GHz
248 MB of RAM

using- AVAST antivirus professional updated regurarly

wat USB device attached to ur computer?

usually wen u get this message it indeed means that 1 of ur devices drawing excess power

if u wan2 continue usin d device den i sugges u use a USB hub with its own independant power supply

well i m using mmc card reader, nokia pc suite via cabel etc i use all four port at a time, any solution dear
