Suggest a 6k PC, quick.

One of my funkiest friend wants to buy a basic PC at minimal performance.

He has monitor, CD-RW, Floppy Drive, Keyboard, Mouse and speakers. Now all he wants is a decent core components within 6k! - I said its not possible, lemme see. So seeking help for u guys. He need to buy tomorrow, so....

Now wat he wants is:

CPU (AMD obviously)
Motherboard
RAM
HDD
Cabinet + SMPS

a better performer-X2 4000+ ,jetway mobo with 7150 i think , 80gb hdd 1gb ram would cost abt 2.5k more than that
if he wants real low its sempron LE for 1475 + M2N MX for 2.4k and 80gb hdd +512mv ram.maybe its 6k

yeah sempron will do fine.. but which model.. and i think 512 MB ram more than enough..

cheapest boards with some avg onboard gfx are Asus M2N MX SE,Gigabyte GA-M61SME-S2.both with Nvidi a 6150.Jetway M2A692-GDG is AMD based..i'd choose M2N-MX SE from those.

r u sure M2N MX SE has Nvidia 6150 ??? isnt it Nvidia 6100 ????

its 6100\430 though its mentioned 6150 everywhere else. + if i m not wrong my own M2N MX showed 6150 in display properties

Transend / KingStone DDR2 667 MHz 512MB @ Rs. 450 /- + TAX
Any local Cabi with default 450 watts @ Rs. 750 /- + TAX
Seagate 80 GB SATA 7200 RPM @ Rs. 1525 /- + TAX

TAX @ 4% VAT Rs. 245 /-
Total Rs. 6370 /-

How ever there is MSI K9MM-V in Kolkata at Rs. 1600/- now I get reports the board is bit costly else where, do enquire about that one also as if available that may get the price down bellow 6k
