Default RAM Query!

Hey Guys!

I recently installed a 512 DDR 266 alongside my 256 DDR333. I thought it shouldn't be a problem as the both should run at 266. Howver my 266 RAM is OC at 333 and as a result Im getting errors with many programsn and also frequent BSOD's.

Is there a way I can make both the RAM's run at 266 Mhz? I guess, that should solve the stability issues

Check the RAM frequency in your BIOS and manually set it to 266 (actual 133mhz)

I did check BIOS! No option to change memory frequency.

My mobo is Intel D845GVSR and BIOS is Intel Corp. VA84510A.86A.0030.P10.0402160229 02/16/2004

That's odd! Check carefully. Your Bios should have that option
