I'm a systemadministrator for the local University and we have about 67 D975XBX2 boards in use and we have pretty much zero issues with them, really good boards. Of course this is just my personal opinion, but if you check the reviews at Newegg you'll find 231 customer reviews and it's the 3rd best reviewed board and also got the customer choice award.

So I think it needless to tell you now that it's safe to ignore the fanboy comments in this thread about brands.

Same config... same processor, same ram same HDD same OS...

now run Nero Vission Express convert a 700 MB RIP to VCD see the time... user AutoGK to encode a 8.5 DVD to a 700 MB RIP, and see the time..

Now just change ur loved 975 and add ABiT IP35-Pro do the same think now look at the difference

Lets come down to Over Clokcing, once again, same config with same processor and same cooler... Note down the Highest but stable on load 24x7 speed you can reach and just now change it with IP35-Pro and now look the number by ur self...

No comments were made on whether they are good or bad... comments were made on the fact that on same budget better boards are available...

Its some thing to provide a verdict for a product which u are using, and provide a verdict after using 2 product as a 3rd person
