ask ur dealer for msi intel p35 chipset based motherboard. One is MSI p35 neo -f & price is around Rs.6000 I think. though I am not sure.

Why did ya purchased a outdated processor like p4-ht. U should have go with core2duo e2160 or e2140. ( Value wise ).

Also if u haven't bought ur graphics card yet I'll suggest U to go with the nvidia 8400,8500 or 8600 chip based graphics card.

Also to run vista smoothly u will require 2GB of ram. Look for ddr2 800 Mhz.

Yeah dude! U can get easily a E2140,2160 with better performance compared to HT. Besides P4HT is Single core and E2140,60 are dual cores and also consumes less power than P4HT!

I am sorry, when I execute Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del), it shows dual cores. I think it is not in single core instead dual core.

^^ That what ht technology does. It makes the OS to think that there is two processors. But there is no physical exisistence of two processors cores.
But latest c2d's are really two processor cores punched into one die.

There was nothing like P4HT in Dual core...the first dual core that came before C2D was Pentium D (830,920 etc.)
