Lite on DVD RW

I've bought a Lite On DVDrw (DH-20A4P07).WinXP recogonizes it as an atapi dvdrw & installed a digitally unsigned driver.In Nero the drive is showing only 4x speed for dvds but doing well for cds.It is rated 20x for dvds and 48 for cds.Pls help me.

check what speed does the dvd supports.
the dvd rom supports 20x, may be the dvd supports max 4x.

That is because the dvd that you are using supports upto 4x write speed. Try a dvd of another brand that has support for 8x or more and see if still nero shows the write speed as 4x.
