Need an Upgrade

Hi..................Everyone....


I wanted to upgrade my system

Gigabyte 845 Motherboard
40 gb HDD
256 MB DDR Ram (266 MHz)

I need to Upgrade to 160 HDD and 1 GB ram .....Just want to will my motherboard support????????. And if in case i installed Ram of different
speeds like (256 mb (266 mhz) and 1 gb (433 mhz) ) will it affect my system

Plzzz suggest me what i can do

the 160GB hdd wont cause any probs.
for the ram,sell ur present 256MB stick and get 2*512MB if u dont plan to add any more ram lateron else get a 1GB stick.
b4 buying the ram just see the max ram speed supported by ur mobo.

Well, you can easily upgrade with 160GB HDD..But, your MB does't support 400mhz RAM..So bring 266 or 333mhz..
