Default Monitor unable to run at 75 Hertz


hey guys..my monitor was runin before at 75 hertz refresh rate..now i donu sudenly..its blurred at 75...n also it changes it resolution wen i try at 75..i put it to 60 n its fine...i thought my monitor supported 75hertz at 1400x900...wat could be the reason..i reinstalled the graphic drivers..still cant make it to run at 75...here r my specs:
samsung myst 932 NW(19"wide screen)
gigabyte 8800GT 512mb
coolmasters 500W PSU

am worried if theres a problem with the card...can u guys help ..thanks..

Are you sure you have installed the correct drivers?

ya dude..i got this comp 1 month back..n everything was working fine..until yesterday..hmm..i installed all the drivers again properly...is it some hardware problem?

Have u installed the monitor drivers???? if not then do that.

If it runs fine at 60Hz then keep it that way, no harm in it. BTW, try installing the monitor driver if not already installed or if you have updated the gfx card's driver, try to revert it back to the earlier version.

ya i did install the monitor drivers..the thing tat is bothering me is i used the comp at 75Hertz for a month now...y this sudden change is wat am confused about
