Re: 120 gb Ext.HDD , suggestions please
Rs. 2500/- for 80 GB 2.5" Segate + USD 2.0 / 2.5" Transcend HDD Casing
Rs. 3200/- for 120 GB 2.5" Segate + USD 2.0 / 2.5" Transcend HDD Casing
thats what local rates are here at kolkata there is no warrenty in the casing, and hdd comes with 5 years warrenty

1st of all vendors doesnt offer any warrenty its the company which does, and when a HDD is faulty, you are suppose bring just the HDD, not the notebook or the casing in which u were using it...

please tell where you stay.
then tell your requirements.
If you are in mangalore, come over to bangalore for the purchase.
you get good drives of 80 GB, 120 GB, 160 GB, 200 GB, 250 GB for laptops. The prices may vary, but for 120 GB it will take you around Rs. 3400/-. A case will come at Rs. 200/- max.

you don't need to buy only transcend case. Its the HDD thats more important. the one I told has NO warranty, but you won't need it. And if you go to mangalore, just detour east to bangalore if you want to make some serious purchases.

^^^ That may not come for Rs.200. That is surely costly. If you are in mangalore then contact NucleusKore. He's the local guy there and would tell you where to buy the components from
