Default Getting a error msg the "Virtual Memmory Low" -reg


hi mates,
well, i m in trouble while downloading with my Lappy - LG Xnote RD400. that,

i havint maid any partition in my 160gb HD. and having 1gb ddr. i used to dwnload a lot of study meterials frm net. now my HD got filled 90gb out of 160. now, whenever i am trying to download some thing, wh contain 50mb or more, cant get downloaded, and showing a message that, "your Virtual Memmory is low, ..."

pls be kind to help me in this regarding.

Increase it to 2gb and make the min and max values same.
Which software are you using to download? it is a memory hog?
Check using Process Explorer (technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx) to see if any process is taking up a lot of ram (like antivirus,virus/trojans etc).

Best things would be to set: System manager swap file. It will take care of any lows and highs.

It is recommended to make min as 1.5 * (your RAM size), means 1536 (min) at your case. You can also select more than that but not less than 1536. But for maximum, select something more, such as 4GB.
