Default Hard disk making noises

Hey guys please help me with this one, my hard disk is making noises (click click pause click click pause.......) it used to work beforehand on my pc(on it also made some noise but very rarely) which presently I dont have access to and has inbuilt sata ports,the computer on which i presently am has a PCI slot sata card with 2 sata ports when i installed the sata card it was working fine afterwards i reinstalled the OS and now it has stopped working please help guys it is very important to me.

Your hdd has developed some problem...if its under warranty replace it.Usually click sound comes before hdd crash.
which brand is it?

Better make backups of all important data and if it is under warranty, then go and get it replaced.
