Default Lappy suggestions

I'm planning to buy a laptop in the range of 30-35K. Please suggest me the good one. I'll basically do some sort of 3D stuff (3DS Max, Maya) on that. I heard that Turion 64 X2s are good.....plz suggest me good model.

For the work you've mentioned I'd sugget you keep away from Turion/Athlon, Pentium Dual Core. you cud go in for Acer Aspire 4710 with Core2Duo Proc. Its available for abt 36k. Other than that I don't think you'll get any laptop wid core2duo under 39k. You may however wud wanna goto acer showroom and check the model out for design and build. Not everyone may like it.

If you forego this:
Quote:
GM519 -Integrated Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED HD Audio 1Software
You can save 1 to 1.5k! Its only the crap software which is available for separate download!
