Default lithium based thermal paste

Hey
zaada hasna mat..

i have this grease which states "good structural thermal and oxidation stability " , its lithium soap based, can it be as a thermal paste?? for the cpu?

Its originally for auto-industrial use..

i am asking this , coz I read on another forum a guy used toothpaste and savlon as thermal paste

Actually "NO"
There is a difference between the Thermal paste and Grease.
the grease's use if for lubrication but thermal paste is used for transferring heat.
There is some degree which what we call boiling point when thermal paste has higher boiling point and grease has lower.

It seems people will begin to ask questions like-

Why not use 'Harpic' as radiator coolant?
