Mobo + Procy

Ok first of all my config:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Asus A8N-e
160gb Hitachi Sata II
1 gig ram

My system was not starting.. I mean the green light on mobo was coming, fans were working but no display on monitor.. So I called some pc guy and he checked and said that procy not getting power and ur mobo dead.. Is it? The green light is still coming..

Now if my mobo is dead I need to buy a new mobo compatible with my system. I don't use my pc much as m in hostel.. So suggest me the cheapest mobo that would support 3200+.. Yea shldn't be that bad.. Average mobo.. Also what is the cost of Asus A8n-vm and A8n-e??
