sony dvd rom reads cd but does not dvd

my sony ddu1622 reads cd well but fails while playing dvd movies , smtimes. it plays fine discs as scratched one. PLS HELP

Does it happen to all the dvds? I mean all the different company dvds or any one in particular??

if its not reading any dvd's then take it to the service centre

if its in warranty it will be replaced or repaired

the most common error, lense may damaged, also if you had warranty please replace it

Simply go n get it replaced
