Default dell offer - should i take it?


i just configured 1520 inspiron.

core 2 duo - 1.5 Ghz
2 gb ram
160 gb hdd
dvd writer
windows xp home
integrated sound
graphics x3100 as i dont want to play games on it.

the other things are same as many have given there configuration of inspirons here.

the price comes to be 43435/- with octroi ( cant avoid it ).
The executive is giving the 1 year complete cover for additional 935/- which is priced at 2500 in their website.

also i am a bit confused about delivery. are delivery charges extra or inclusive.i have sent a mail to them regarding this. if u guys know, tell me.

and overall should i take this offer?

from where exactly you are going to bring this lappy, also why you are going for XP, go for vista

yeah agreed but tally is not only thing i want to work on.
Bit of gaming & multimedia is always good.

tell me if this pricing is good enough.

Not that I am against dell, but I would also point that do look in this config also from Compaq

Guess its XP Home.. with xtra price..

For Vista, there is no extra charge.. For XP - 2000+ extra.. huh
