Galaxy 8600GT OC
I am about to buy Galaxy 8600GT OC DDR 3 at about 6.2K Is it a OK card??? Anyone using this card, please reply???
If not this card then what????

I am using 8600 GT DDR2 OC.
1st thing is that "OC" is a plain LIE. THere is nothing OCed.
Card is fine more for most games on high or very high setts at Res upto 1024 x 768
At higher resolution than above the performance drops for intensive games.
ITs a good enough card for games.

Most of the times, u can oC it manually to much higher levels.
For 6.2k, its a fair deal.
But i wud recommend Asus EN 8600GT for 6.8k. Gr8 build quality. nd cooling.

I OCed my Core to 640 from 540 on Stock Cooling and no probs. Also Memory I did a mild OC from 400 to 420
