Default Figure this out!!

I recently bought a new pair of zebrionics headphones(http://www.zebronics.net/headphone-1000hmv.asp). The problem is they sound too low....the music comes out low but the vocals sounds really low. When i push the jack halfway the sound comes out loud.

i thought it was a problem with the jack so i took it to the service centre and got it tested, they worked perfectly fine!(i heard it myself without any of the above mentioned problems).

i don't think there is any problem with the soundcard's jack...because my speakers and other headphones work fine.

so what is could be the problem??

well can someone help me?

this happens sometimes if u have high-end speakers or earphones (the same happened between my hp laptop & jbl 2.1 speakers). the breakers that you see across the jacks are the real culprit. even a lil' difference between your jack & plug will cause disturbances in sound output. changing settings on your pc will not solve the issue. there usually isn't anything wrong with either component.. but, a lil' adjustment in & out or just rotating the plug slightly should allign the two of them 7 work just fine..
best of luck
