lol..I will suggest only 20 GB for C:/ drive. keep only system files in this drive...because reinstalling OS will delete al files from this drive.

its an external hard disk ... so i thought ki wo isme OS install nahi karega ......... Agar isme OS bhi install karna hai to I also recommend 20 GB for Primary partition (make some other drive as default path for My Documents and Program Files ) ..... baaki size to bhai ki Choice pe depend karta hai .........

Yaar jab se mera 40gb data ura hai tab se bahut tension hai.Woh toh bhala ho ravi ka jiski wajah se baaki data maine bacha liya.Becoz i have got 80gb +200gb hdd.200 gb hdd bahut ajeeb behave kar rahi hai everytime it runs chkdsk before starting the os.I dont know why.And beech mein apne aap hi 200gb hdd gayab ho jaati hai.Data cable is ok.80gb is working fine.Cable and port maine 80gb ke change kiye thay 200gb ko toh haath bhi nahi lagaya tha phir isko loose motions kyu lage huey hai.And yes two times i got this message "do u want to format it now" on fat32 drives. And when i formatted it there was only one option i.e NTFS. And surprisingly when 200gb was connected and external drive was also connected i got the same message with the external harddisk "do u want to format it now" I have disconnected that hdd and my system is working fine. But i have to copy the data to external hdd now.I cant connect both of them at the same time its risky.Any reason why its happening?

The only person who can effectively answer the question is yourself. Make Partitions category wise (movies, documents), size allocation will be decided by you, no issues
