When i open Nvidia access manager to view my graphics card temperature, i always find it around 70 when idle.. One of my friends told that it is not a good sign..
I have XFX nvidia 8500GT graphics card.. and it is shipped with a small heat sink.. i didnot install any other cooling system for that..
Please suggest me the solution..

one side of the case is always kept open..
i have installed a LAN card in the PCI slot which stays almost 1 inch away from the graphics card.. is that the reason why my idle temperatures are high??
no... is your card XFX ? oh yeah.. thats the reason.. don't know why but XFX cards generally heat up more... though i havent witnessed as 8500 GT heating up..
