URGENT GUYS PLS TELL Regarding PSU....

Guys, my psu (which came with my cabinet i ball which was 400watts) suddenly it went off when i was lisning songs, after that my pc refused to start. i suddenly realised that my smps(psu) is dead...
i went rushing to a local computer store to buy a new 1, but all shops were closed

guys now tomoro 1st thing for me is to get a new psu for my pc(under my signature)...
what do u guys suggest???

im getting cooler master 380watts - 2.2k
and cooler master 600watts - 4.2k
i dont want 2 spend sooo much.

which 1 to get?? any other suggestion like zebronics platinum 500watts.

pls tell guys and with price if u can.

P.S. i m getting a new 8600gt or gts very soon...

well, u dnt need much power for a 8600GT. 400W is more than enough. n is the config listed below urs? if yes the, the 380W will do, but gor a reliable brand. Antec, Coolermaster, or u have sum local brands that are trustable like powersafe etc.

the price i have quoted of cooler master psu both 380 and 600watts are they fine or more then they should be???

Read my signature. I use Amigo 500W PSU and it is working like a charm. Costed me 1800/- tax included from Nehru Place.

but guys i live in bhopal(m.p.) and i dont think Amigo will b avilable here.
the option i have here r
1.Cooler Master
2.maybe Zebronics
3.and all that cheep ones like intex etc...

so guys pls tell fast have to go in 2hrs.

Cooler Master if you can afford then its the best. It has high efficiency.
Other than that, people here have used zebronics and they have given positive reviews.

Good choice. 8800 would not have worked with a 380W PSU.

I got Mine for Rs. 450 only. But not much of a known brand. "Odissy" something. Its working fine for my PC. [Refer Sig]

Nehru Place price was Rs. 3600 when I last inquired about 1.5 months ago. Right now, it should be +/- 500. So considering that other brands are not available at your place very easily, I think 4K is OK.
