Cannot See Drives While Browsing...

Hello Folks... Myself Ajay.. this is my first post here.. was having a problem.. so came across this forum... seems quite an interactive forum...

Now, der is this strange problem wid ma pc...
Whenever m browsing files... i cannot find my Hard Drives... C,D,E & F..
like.. in nero.. when m trying to add files thru add option.. nd when i click MY COMPUTER... no drive is visible?? i mean just Removable drives are der...

same is da case when i want to attach a file in my mail.. i cant get thru the drives.. they r invisible.. nd if i open My computer normally.. i mean by double clicking on desktop My Computer.. every drive is der...

Have you also posted about it at other forum? coz I hv replied the same question in another forum recently.

Try this. Open regedit and goto:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\Explorer

In right side pane, make sure there is no DWORD value "NoDrives". If its there, delete it.

But der was no such DWORD value "NoDrives".
but instead this was der.. "NoDriveTypeAutoRun" <<-- i deleted this... now it looks like the screenshot below..
