Question About dual channel


Hello friends,
I have 2 512 MB DDR2 667 mhz ram on my M2NPV-VM in dual channel.
Now i want to buy a 1gb ram, will this combo work
512-512-1

i think it can work .........but u have to install ram in this order ........
1st Slot ----> 512 MB
2nd Slot ----> 1Gb
3rd Slot ----> 512 MB
4th slot ----> Empty

it may/may not work. try it by borrowing 1 GB RAM stick from ur friend.
