Cool Purchasing a new monitor

I would like to know which monitor with DVI is the best currently. My budget is 10k. It would be helpful if I can find a good shop in Chennai.

Also I would like to know what DVI means

Gte Viewsoinic VM 19" wide LCD. Its bout 9.5k.

DVI is a digital transmission standard which gives better sharpness, clarity and speed over analog display standards like Dsub or VGA, or S video.
