Confused About which psu to buy.help me?

i recently added a 6600GT AGP to my P4 3.06GHz HT system with 1 HDD and 1 ODD and the system refused to boot up.

i think the psu is the problem as my present psu is intex 400W with 55% efficiency .so i wanna upgrade my psu.

which psu to buy for 850Rs Max. colorsit or zebronics?or any other psu.

plz suggest??

Zebronics 500watt(simple one which comes with zeb cabbys)
or Zebronics platinum 400 watts if it fits your budget.

Zeb 400 watt----400-500
Zeb 500 watt----600-700
Zeb platinum 400 watt----1200-1400
Zeb platinum 500watt-----1700-1900

Try to get platinum 400watt.

How much power will the simple ZEB 400W psu deliver.

i need atleast 300W power for my components to keep it stable

Buy a platinum 400W one.....it will give u enough power to run ur system!

efficiency is how much of the 400W platinum and the 12V rail Amperage

or if u want to save money get the normal cheap zebby 500w..

Buy a 400 W platinum!

U know a good brnaded 500 Watt PSU is better than a cheap 700 watt PSU!

The game is about Ampherage!

but on their site i found the platinum 400W is having 17A on 12V rail but the members told me here that the simple zebronics 400W psu 20+4 pin is having 20A on 12V rail.

i am getting much more confused here

Zeb normal 400w PSu can't deliver 20A on 12v rail simply coz it dun use such quality components to produce 20A on 12vrail. If it does then it shud generate much heat and there shud have a heavy heatsink inside the PSu. But it dun hafe a heavy heatsink, dat means the transformer inside dat is not dat efficient.

But he platinum series use much more higher quality components. The 400w plat is much heavier than a normal 500w one. So if the platinum says 17A on 12v rail, then it means it cud deliver somewhat close to that. But a normal one cudn't deliver even 60% of what is specified.

Well if u don't trust Zebronics then buy Cooler Master Extreme series...trust me they are really worth it!

Colorsit is better than normal PSU. SO i think a 450w cud handle 8600GT easily.

Well u require a 400 watt....if Colorsit is 450 Watt and is for 800/- then i must say that it will easily handle even 8800 GTS!

I didnt check your rig but Zeb 500 platinum is a good buy. I myself bought it about a month and half back for Rs 1850 including all taxes here in Mumbai @ lamington

Yeah but Colorsit is for 800/- but still zebronics is a worthy PSU.....better than COLORSIT....i believe!

Though its a Chinese PSU but its good and u can see some reviews and ask about the performance from guys who own it!

Dude don't buy something for which u will cry after u own it!

Buy Zebronics....people know this thing because they know whats exactly it is made up of!

I never go after the first time reviews....although they provide a better idea but i always look for the people who owns it and using it for a quite some time!

Buy Zebronics or the one which has service center in your city!
