17" LCD MOnitior to Buy...help

PLease help me friends I want to buy new lcd monitor of 17 inches, i search the market i found 3 brands LG, viewsonic and Intex in nearby shops, I want to deside the good monitor for my cabinet, i know LG is good but it is costly,
One shop keeper ready to give me 17" widescreen of intex in Rs.8500, and at same cost Lg 17" normal LCD, And also one of the deal is Intex 19" widescreen at Rs.9500.But i dont want to buy 19" lcd, i am sufficient at 17".
these intex monitors have contrast ratio of 700:1, is this good enough?
BUt afterall I think LG is good, PLease help me.

No Intext, though some View Sonic 19" models have problems but i didnt get any report on 17" you can buy 17" View Sonic

also LG / SAMSUNG they are already exstablished brands

...

19" LCD worth it

I would say View Sonic vx1930wm which is around Rs. 9.5k

its a good Display

dont go for intex\lg
get a viewsonic\aoc\samsung

Yeah in that price if u can get a 19" LCD then there is no harm in going for a 19" instead of 17"!
Infact u will love the 19" display!
