@bikdel
6600 is out of production. As u want an AGP solution , the best deal is 7600GT for 6k[GP] or 7600GS for 4.5k~5k[AGP]. The 7600GT cud give more performance than 6800 Extreme or Ultra in todays games. Or u can also have ATI X1600 Pro or XT AGP. @vivekbabbudelhi nup dude. It can be done via the adapter dat sam said. But the other way is not possible[If i remember]. U cannot convert D sub analog to DVI digital via ny adapters.

^^dvi-i carries both analog & digital
dvi-d just has digital so dvi-i can be converted to rgb with just a plug http://www.projectorpeople.com/cable...onnections.asp http://www.dell.com/content/topics/g...=gen&~lt=popup

u mean to say 7600 Gt/GS is in production??... no way man... jus the left over stock is there i gues...
and why cannot one go for DX 10 cards, i mean if someone has pretty decent config and just wants wants prformance from the ageing AGP bus because upgrade would come at a higher cost, then: then one can opt for HD 2400 or 2600 AGP, isnt it... so better performance in vista as well... and AFAIK HD 2600 performs better than 7600 GT

I dun think HD 2600 is available in AGP. Also there are no GF8 AGP cards out.
So considering that, the better deal is GF7 cards.
