Default Monitor Blackout


from past few days my monitor (LG Studioworks 563N) has been behaving strangely.after i turn it on and use it for sometime say half and hour or so the screen starts to either flicker or there is a blackout i.e. my monitor gets turned off but if u wack it gently on its side the screen comes to display.i have checked the power options and cleaned the power cables.but still the problem persists can any of u lead me out of this weird problem.Looking forward to u all for help.

There might be a problem of stray Electric Field around ur Room where you use your PC. Notice that near your Room no High Voltage Electric Transmission line goes.

i had the same problem, got it solved by LG tech support free as my monitor was under guarantee

What the guy did was to resolder some worn out joints at the discharge tube PCB.
