I have purchased a Lenovo 3000 N100 Laptop in Apr 2006 My problem is that the HDD (Toshiba 60GB SATA) is failed & not detected in BIOS. I contacted Lenovo but they are saying that the LAPTOP is out of warranty. When i checked with TOSHIBA support site (US), it is mentioned that the HDD is under warranty. There is nothing mentioned on Toshiba India site for generation of RMI.
Please guide me how to get my HDD replaced / repaired.

Rajesh

hmm.. i dont think you wuld be able to obtain warrenty directly from Thosiba.. as Thosiba didnt sell the product to you, they have sold the product to IBM / Lenevo
so legally they are not bound to support you, they are bound to support IBM, in this case IBM is the one which would offer you warrenty
