Default Centrino duo same as core2duo?

Hi,

i recently got myself a dell vostro 1500, and the sticker on the top says "intel centrino duo" and the one on my invoice says "intel core 2 duo"

Are these the same processors? because if they are different, i need to call Dell up asap!

Help!

Centrino is Intel's laptop /Mobile computing platform which includes (but not limited to ) The Chipset , Wirelass and wired connectivity solution line IEEE lan and Wireless B/G network connectivity and the processor.

And when the processor itself is a C2D mobile ,the centrino platform is called Centrino duo...so everything is ok with your lappy...Njoy
