purujitb Apprentice Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 84	noisy fan Hi, I have a P4 3.0GHz with Mercury 865 motherboard. Whenever I boot my PC the fan makes too much noise, which reduces after some time. Whay can be the problem and soultion for that? P.S. Temp for CPU at starting is abt 32c after some time 45c(after the noise reduces) Please help

dear...........My P4 2.8 processor is 3 yr old, and does not make any noise.So, I dont think there is any issue of noise related to P4 series.

its mentioned on mobo only... or check ur intel processor/mobo supported list.
