harddisk hardware lock

can anyone tell me how to remove the hardware password for my hitachi laptop harddisk. i was using a tool called "secureerase" present in the "Ultimate Boot CD" toolkit. halfway through the process i stopped the formatting and now wen im booting from my harddisk its asking for a hardware password. please telll me how to rectify tis problem

I am scared..you need to reinstall OS and format hard disk.

i'm scared you can't reinstall OS and format hard disk until u get ur hard disk unlocked. u may need to contact a professional to recover it. have a look at it. this may may u or just google it.
