Exclamation resolution disappeared

Hi !
This is Bhaskar from kolkata. I am a regular reader of digit magazine. recently I faced a piculiar problem with my computer. Before explain it , I give the configuration of my pc
Processor – Core2Duo 1.86 Ghz, Motherboard – intel DG965WH, RAM – Xeon 1 GB DDR2 HDD – seagate 160 GB SATA, Monitor – Asus 19” LCD wide screen(VW192) max resolution 1440X900
My problem is I cant set the correct resolution (1440X900) for my monitor. I am not facing this problem from starting. At earliar I have two operating systems i.e win2000 an win xp pro.in different drive. And it running fine with correct resolution (1440X900) and windows autometicaly detect it when I install graphics driver software. But in last sunday morning when I boot win XP it give flikker image and I found resolution is not correct . So I try to set resolution in display properties but it is not in the list. Then I boot anather Operating sys for checking (win2000) but here also the same problem exsist so I quite ensure that it might be hardware problem. That system cant recognisied the right monitor type.( there is no driver cd comes with my monitor) . I also try by reinstall Windows and graphics driver but it not solve this problem.
I am totally confused . what can I do?
Pls anybody help me if know the way for such problem?

Thanks & regards
