Your options:

Compaq Presario V6404TU for 27k
Acer Aspire 5310NWXCi for exactly 24k

Both the configs feature similar specs - Celeron M proccys, 512MB RAM, GMA950 graphics, 2-2.5hrs battery life. The Compaq has a DVD Burner drive while the Acer has a Combo drive. Make your choice.

Don't go for Sahara, ACi, etc... Most of them settle for non-Intel chipsets to bring down the cost. Not a nice thing to do in a laptop.

If you add your own RAM ie not getting upgraded by Acer, you may have warranty probem.

Excellent build quality and value for money...

Pentium Dual Core T2080
512 MB DDR2 667 Mhz, 2 GB Max.
Ati Radeon Express 200m graphics chipset

1 Yr On Site/carry in (not sure0 warranty)

The Only CON is OS - Windows Vista Starter Edition
