cant install audio driver ..plz help

hi

i have Asus M2V NPM motherboard with amd athlon 64 3600+..i recently installed windows xp sp1 .when i try to install audio drivers (soundmax ADI1968A Audio driver )... it says

Errrm.....The pic's resolution is way too small buddy.It's hard to read what the error message is & also I tried zooming in but still can barely read the text.Please attach a bigger image & if possible try to use SP2 if possible & check if that helps.

oh i just enabled thumbnail image for space saving sorry...it says audio driver files do not support your hardware ....i had broken my CD of sp3 so had installed this..now ab ye problem

by the way my 500th post in digit forum ..yipeeeeeeeee

yar koi to reply karo...lagta hai dobara se win2000 sp4 install karna padega

First thing:
1)Install service pack 2.Most motherboard driver need XP SP2
2) Try installing by double click the seetup file.Dont use default installation at autorun.

3) If still you can install..than download the latest driver for ur motherboard from the MOB manufacturer's website.

I think this should solve ur problem.

thanks ravi...sp1 pirated hai so sp2 install nahin ho sakta .....
i installed win 2000 sp4 so no probs now

ok..than enjoy ur system with sound now

Anyway you can get complete XP with SP2..from local market @Rs.100/-.But I dont suggest you to use pirated software...better buy it..or else linux,
