hi abt lcd...

hi,
just brought a new LCD display - viewsonic vx1932wm, its cool, colors looks great, super bright! it rocks!

but there is one doubt i have:

do all lcd's display some kind of rings on faces while watching movies( i can see it only observed closely...)

from a little away it looks great!

so tell me is it another one of lcd's drawbacks..?

Even i have the same problem while watching videos.. Rings/Fringes appear in case of a bright object or bright light..

Are you using it at the native resolution and using DVI cable?
My one year old 19" VS doesn't have any such problem.

yes at native also same problem, and i am using dvi cable with geforce 6600

Yes, got replacement (second time) recently and works perfectly.

Call, give details and the sl. number of the monitor and you will get the RMA number. The monitor will be checked/taken for service the next day or so.
