Default CD-RW problem

I am using amkette cd-rw for sometime now. I used to write downloaded movies to watch on TV and then erase it. Yesterday I wrote one movie on it, since then it is not working. The movie works fine in the computer. Even cd writer does not recognise that. I can throw away the cd. But on technical interest i want to recover the cd. Any suggesstions?

Try doing a 'full erase' and then burning at a lower speed.

Try erasing the cd using alternate software like CD XP Burner pro. Sometimes Nero gives trouble while erasing
