IDE Proble,

Hi,

I just baught a new mobo GIGABYTE 945GZM-S2
The problem is it has only one IDE port while I have 1 IDE HDD and 2 DVD Writers,
How do I get around this problem.

Solution is to hit yourself in the head for not doing your homework before making a purchase. Always do your research before zeroing in on any product.

Anyways, I am not aware of an IDE cable in which you can connect all 3 of them to the same IDE port. Hmmm.. can't think of any other workaround too.

u can buy a PCI card with IDE slots in it

will cost u 200-300 max

keep both the DVD drive on one IDE channel and d HDD on the other

d card will look sumthin like this
