Exclamation Ram Prob...

hi guys!

i am a new forum member...
just wanted to ask whether i should connect 256mb with 1gb
(in asynchronous mode) whether it will be a bottleneck?...
or i should go for 1gb in a single slot (will it give better performance?)

i already have 256mb which i do not want to dump...
and shell out min as possible!

If both are the same speed ie DDR400 or 333 etc you may use both without any performance loss, else the faster one will be tied down to the slower one's speed.
