hi guys!

i am a new forum member...
just wanted to ask whether i should connect 256mb with 1gb
(in asynchronous mode) whether it will be a bottleneck?...
or i should go for 1gb in a single slot (will it give better performance?)

i already have 256mb which i do not want to dump...
and shell out min as possible!

its always better to use the 2 exactly sam ram modules, but u can still try and yes i think they shud be of the same frequency as well

having problem with RAM

No need to double post.

I use 1 gb 400 mhz and 128 mb 333 mhz in dual channel mode.No problems faced till now (been using it for about a year).
