Default Please suggest a PSU

I purchased a branded PC and later reliased that they have put only 250watt power supply in it.It has worked all right but now I am upgrading my machine so I will have to buy a new PSU.

My specs now.:

Intel 946ghiz mobo,
512MB ddr2 ram@ 533mhz
80gb WD hdd

My upgrade list:
XFX 8600GT FATAL1TY,
2gb ddr2 ram@667MHz,
250gb hd(in addition to 80 gb)

So which psu to buy.As far as budget is concerned ummm..1k-2k.

i would suggest that u should spent atleast 1k for d psu as upgrading the components later will be easy and PSU's gradually degrade in performance and that might create a problm for u later if u get a low wattage PSU

I agree with you utsav.PSUs don't outdate as other components of your system but still price is always a big concern.

BTW Any suggestions?

da first one have opnly 20 pin mobo connector. It won't be able to work in ur upgraded sytem with gcard. SO get a Zebronics Platinum 400w.
Its for 1.3k and is much stable than the base 400w model.

if u want u can buy a Zebronics Platium 500w,but the 400w one will do the job.
