SATA Harddrive

my sata hdd is showing up in the system taskbar on the bottom left, like a usb device..(green arrow) is it normal? for a sata drive to show up like a usb device.. its the first time im using sata drives so im not sure if its ok..

im having the same problem. but i havent tried looking for a solution as yet. its working properly without any problem, but dont even play arnd by clicking on remove device.

someone else had posted before that he removed that device, and then his hard disk wasnt getting detected again.

i dnt have that prob in vista though.

anyway if someone knws how to solve it, pls share.
