Exclamation partition in Vista


Hi i want to make partition in which vista is loaded. I use paragon HDD manager
but it can't able to make paritions.It says only unallocated space can be used to make partition.

I hav only one drive(C: )with 100GB space.I want to split it into two.

Help me please.

I hav one big 100Gb C: drive i want to split it into two i.e. two 50GB drives.
and then i wnt to install XP on it.

It is bootable software. No need of vista .Just boot from cd

If you don't have any important data on the partition, then simply boot using XP Setup CD and follow the wizard. At the time when it asks to select the partition, delete existing partition and then create 2 partitions of 50 GB as you want. In case you hv any data, you can make a backup of it on other hard disk or pen drives.

After deleting existing partition
Will Xp promt me to create new partition?

^^ Yes. Just delete the partition and it'll show you free space. Now u can create partitions again as many as you want.
