AMD or Intel ? ? ? ?

Hi guys...

I know its a common question, but still i have ask u guys before i buy.. im gonna assemble a new pc, u guys pls tell me a better proceesor and mother board, but it should come within 6-6.5k... i will be mainly using the machine for video editing ,for movie ripping and to edit some home videos... u guys pls suggest which one i should go for....

Go for AMD its cheaper....n it suits your needs.....n for more go here

For sub 20k PC, AMD Rulz and has veru gud vfm. Intel mainly suited for high perfomance PC 30k+.

but one more thing
most good mobos come with socket 775, intel not amd
and usually with amd proccy, i think ati wud be better

I don't think so...? there are lots of good offering based on 690G chipset and Nvidia too has some better options for AMD platform.

Yup, the 570i Ultra and SLI are very gud perfomance boards and 6100, 690G are best IGP based mobos and are as cheap as 3k and also offer perfomance close to 570i SLI.
They all are much cheaper than Intel competitor.
Even some 3k mobos has HDMI, DVI, DSUB and HDTV decoding and decent IGP perfomance.
