Turion is better than celeron, if it had been C2D frrom intel, the story wud have been different

dude dont get compaq at all i have like 5 different compaq products all which i am facing problems with i mean i dont own all just 1 buy my brothers and sister own the rest

The turion processor comes in Compaq Presario V3424AU which has Vista installed.But i don't want vista,i want XP or may be free dos.
So what shuld i do? Should I format it after buying and then install XP? |

vista will run fine but no up to mark.
U may format and install XP if u will. Overall the AMD offering is gr8 in the two
